Internal extractor

Description

The segmented internal extractors in the 21-E series are used for extracting flat bearings, bearing outer rings, bushes and seals in trade, workshops and industry. The segmented design with extra fine gripping edges enables the safe extraction of flat parts. The 21 series impresses with its compatibility and variety of applications. Depending on the application, there are numerous variants of the segmented internal extractors. They are used either together with counter stays or with slide hammers.

Benefits Operation

  • Thanks to its segmentation and fine spindle, the segment extractor is ideal for precise and gentle work

  • Thanks to the mechanical spindle, even bearings that are tightly seated on the rear wall are pulled out safely and quickly

  • Shaping ensures a secure grip when mounting and swivelling out bearings or inner rings that form a blind hole

  • The thread adapters for internal extractors that may be required are included in the scope of delivery of the counter stays and slide hammers

  • Determine the internal diameter of the ball bearing and select a suitable internal extractor
  • Insert the internal extractor into the bore and tighten the clamping nut
  • If a support surface is available, select a counter stay, otherwise select a slide hammer

Operation with counter stay:

  • Support the counter stay on the housing and screw it onto the wedge spindle of the internal extractor
  • Hold the handle of the counter stay and pull out the bearing safely by tightening the nut
  • Retighten the clamping nut when pulling out

Operation with slide hammer:

  • Screw the slide hammer rod onto the wedge spindle of the internal extractor
  • Use the slide hammer with a striking motion to pull out the bearing
