Description

The double-edged, mechanical nut splitter is used for splitting non-detachable, rusted or overtightened nuts in grades 5, 6 and 8. The threaded pin remains undamaged during this blasting process. When the spindle is tightened, the two sharp, bevelled cutting edges of the chisel penetrate deep into the nut until it is blown off. Thanks to the double blasting effect, only one work step is necessary.

Area of application

For blasting rusted or overtightened nuts of grade 5, 6 and 8 that are stuck and cannot be removed.

Place the nut splitter on the stuck nut
Manually pressurise the spindle to fix it until the chisels press against the nut
Use a ratchet or combination spanner to move the hexagon on the spindle head until the nut is cracked
Unscrew the chisel from the cracked nut
